Audio Troubleshooting for Dr. Dish CT+ and All-Star+ models

If your Dr. Dish CT+ or All-Star+ is not playing audio or there is a constant unexpected noise here is a step by step troubleshooting guide to help you identify and resolve the issue.

Step 1: Check the Audio Jack Connection on Your Tablet

  • Locate the audio jack on your tablet. The images below indicate the location on each tablet style.

    • CT+

    • Rebel+ or All-Star+ - There are two tablet styles for these models, images of both are included below.


  • Disconnect the audio cable from the audio jack.

  • Reconnect it fully, ensuring it is secure.

Step 2: Test the audio function.

  • The audio setting menu can be found at the bottom left corner of the tablet while you are on the Home screen.

  • From here you can adjust the volume level as well as toggle on or off optional Audio Feedback components.
  • At this point the Audio system can be tested by running a drill or viewing a training video.

Step 3: Reconnect the Cable at the Amplifier

If checking the tablet connection and audio settings did not resolve the problem, the audio cable might need to be reconnected at the amplifier. This step is a bit more involved as it requires accessing the internal components of your machine.

    • Remove the left shroud of your machine. 

    • Once the shroud is removed, locate the amplifier near the front of the machine.

    • Reseat the audio cable to the amplifier. This connections is circled in yellow below.

 

After reconnecting the cable at the amplifier,test your audio once more. If the issue is resolved re-install the shroud on the machine. If the issue is still present please contact the Support+ Team.
