Written Instructions
1. Power Down and Disconnect
-
Turn off the machine using the rocker switch located on the back.
-
Unplug the main power cord from the wall outlet to ensure the system is fully powered down.
-
Unplug the cables from the back of the tablet:
-
Audio Cord: Located on the right side (black socket).
-
Power Cord: Located in the middle, next to the Ethernet port.
-
2. Remove the Old Tablet
-
Locate the four bolts/screws on the back of the tablet mounting plate.
-
Tip: Loosen three of the four bolts first, leaving one top bolt for last. This prevents the tablet from falling unexpectedly.
-
While supporting the tablet with one hand, remove the final bolt and carefully lift the tablet away from the mounting arm.
3. Install the New Tablet
-
Position the new tablet against the mounting plate. You can rest it against your shoulder for stability while lining up the holes.
-
Insert the first bolt through the mounting plate and into the tablet.
- Important Hardware Order: Ensure the hardware is installed in this specific order: Bolt Head → Lock Washer → Flat Washer.
-
Hand-tighten the first few threads to secure it, then insert the remaining three bolts.
4. Tighten and Secure
-
Use the 4mm Allen wrench (or your fingers for thumb screws) to tighten all four bolts.
-
Caution: The bolts should be snug, but do not over-tighten, as you may strip the threaded inserts inside the tablet.
5. Reconnect and Test
-
Plug the audio cord back into the black socket on the right.
-
Plug the power cord back into the center port.
-
Plug the machine back into the wall outlet and turn on the rocker switch on the back.
-
The front of the machine should show a flashing blue LED, and the tablet will begin its loading sequence.
