Written Instructions
- Remove Left Shroud
- Cut Zip Ties: Carefully use wire cutters to cut any zip ties holding the wiring to the machine frame near the power board to give slack to the cables.
- Disconnect Cables: Disconnect all the labeled cables from the old power board. Each cable connector has a push-clip that needs to be pressed down to release the plug.
- Important Note: The cables and the board connections are labeled (e.g., P5, P8) to ensure correct re-connection. If any cables are missing a label it would be advantageous to relabel it prior to disconnecting from the Power Board.
-
Remove Old Board: Using the 3mm Allen wrench, unscrew the four bolts holding the old power board to the frame. Remove the old board setting it off to the side.
-
Install New Board: Place the new power board into position, ensuring the cables are out of the way. Screw in one of the top bolts first to hold the board in place, then install the remaining three bolts. Tighten all four bolts until they are snug and secure, but do not overtighten.
- Reconnect Cables: Reconnect all the cables to the new power board, matching the labels (P5, P8, etc.) to the corresponding ports. You should hear a click as each cable is fully seated.
- Power On Machine: Plug in the machine and flip the power switch to the on position.
-
Connect to Machine: On the tablet, or in the Dr Dish Player App if you have a Home model, under "Other Machines," locate the "Home Dish" entry (the letters in parentheses may vary) and tap Connect.
-
If a Firmware Update is available, select Update and wait for the process to complete before continuing. It is very important to not interrupt this process.
-
- Setup Machine: Once connected, your device will display the SETUP MACHINE screen. Tap Setup Machine to begin the calibration.
-
Perform Rotation Calibration: Follow the on-screen prompts for the rotation calibration:
-
Rotate Machine to Center: Manually adjust the machine to face center, the numbers should be green, and hit Confirm.
-
Rotate Machine to Right Baseline: Manually adjust the machine to face the right baseline, the numbers should be green, and hit Confirm.
-
Rotate Machine to Left Baseline: Manually adjust the machine to face the left baseline, the numbers should be green, and hit Confirm.
-
- Write Serial Number: On the next screen, tap WRITE SERIAL NUMBER.
- Enter Serial Number: Enter the machine's serial number (found on the sticker on the back-left net pole) and tap Confirm.
- Final Assembly: Use new zip ties to secure the cables away from any moving parts, then re-install the left shroud.
