Power Troubleshooting on Dr. Dish Rebel, All-Star, or Pro models

Troubleshooting for if your Dr. Dish All-Star, Rebel, or Pro model is not powering on.

When a Dr. Dish Rebel, All-Star, or Pro model  is not powering on we need to troubleshoot only a few things:
  • Power Source
  • Power Supply
  • Power Supply Harness
  1. Power Source - Ensure that your extension cord is giving adequate power. You can do this by plugging something simple like a phone charger into the extension cord. If getting power, move on to Step 2. If not, please try again with a different extension cord. If you are still not getting power the breaker on your outlet may have tripped.
  2. Power Supply - Check if there is a Green LED lit up on your Power Supply when the machine is plugged in. This Green LED is shown in the image below. If the Green LED is on please proceed to Step 3:

    1. No Green LED - If you are not seeing a green light, check the two connections on the Power Supply seen in the image below. If after checking these connection points the Green LED still is not coming on the Power Supply itself will likely need to be replaced:

  3. Power Supply Harness - The next component to check is the Power Supply's connection to the Console.
    1. Remove the four screws securing the console.

    2. Carefully lift the console.

    3. Locate the 4-pin connector (see image).

    4. Disconnect and inspect the cable and port for damage.
